Adelaide's live music scene collides with cabaret in "Guitar Cab" - a night of bands with a flair for the theatrical and story-telling music. Think guitar, bass and drums but with original narrative songs, inventive re-interpretations and dynamic staging. Paired with the intimate lounge-bar stylings of Prompt Creative Centre and cocktail specials on offer, this is a gig with a difference showcasing some of Adelaide's best songwriting talent.

Featured acts:

The Yellow Wallpaper
Traipsing through chaos with raucous tenacity, The Yellow Wallpaper is frustration, melancholy, confusion and joy. Emphasising unrelenting guitars, ferocious percussion and sultry desperation behind every word, this Grunge-Rock five-piece demands your attention.

Jemma Nicole
Haunting melodies, raw storytelling and evocative lyricism. With her distinct blend of folk, rock, Americana and alt-country, Jemma Nicole's songwriting transcends genres. From the Tamworth Country Music Festival to Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, Jemma music has found audiences around the country and across the globe.

The Dead Regulars
Formed inside a disused bank vault, the Dead Regulars locked themselves away and made noise until that turned into sweet garage blues. Original songwriting and the occasional obscure cover, the band has also provided the soundtrack to a number of hit cabarets - gracing the stages of Gluttony, Brisbane Powerhouse, Bleach Festival (Gold Coast) and Sydney's Red Rattler.

This event is presented in conjunction with Prompt Creative Centre.
